Description:

The Material Recycling & Recovery Facilities (MRRF) project was composed of four facilities in Chicago. The first building is the Medill MRRF, a 126,000 square foot, 225-foot clear span by 50-foot high building. The second building is the NW MRRF, a 116,000 square foot, 250-foot clear span by 50-foot high building. The third project location is a 90,000 square foot addition to the existing facility at the 34th and Lawndale MRRF, which consists of a 190-foot clear span by 50-foot high single-slope. The fourth building is the CID MRRF, a 144,000 square foot, 275-foot clear span by 50-foot high building designed with a mechanical roof hanging platform to carry 35 tons of equipment load. All four buildings are equipped with several 30-foot wide by 30-foot high overhead doors.
