Description:

This project consisted of the rehabilitation of four IDOT salt storage domes located at Joliet, Harvey, Monee, and New Lenox IDOT maintenance facilities. The rehabilitation work included repairing all the damages to the dome structure and roof sheathing, installing a new asphalt shingle roof system with an ice and water shield membrane, reconstructing and enlarging the dome entrance with a new roof, vinyl siding, trim, gutters, and downspouts. A protective stainless steel cap was installed at entrance walls to protect against equipment damage.
